As we reach the conclusion of the last working day of 2023, we can't help but feel a sense of nostalgia reflecting on the year's journey at Wing Technology.
January 2023 marked a significant milestone when China liberalized its pandemic-control measures. Everyone was buzzing with excitement, anticipating an economic revival. We all expected a speedy comeback for stagnant sectors like construction and public venue development, which would in turn drive demand for Wing Technology's intelligent toilet seats. With dealers managing significant projects such as airport renovations and new office buildings, we keenly looked forward to 2023 as a year of substantial growth for Wing Technology.
Nevertheless, the ensuing economic downturn and real estate crisis were unexpected developments. Outward foreign investments and the global supply chain's detachment from China dealt a significant blow to our economy; the forecasted growth and increased demand did not materialize as expected.
Despite the economic slump, Wing Technology has been gifted with a client base we've built for almost two decades and this year's foreign trade sales surpassing our previous years. The growing demand for public hygiene, even amidst the gloomy economic scenario, ensured we kept a slight growth.
No matter the highs and lows, 2023 has come to an end. To celebrate the new year, our Human Resources team has prepared a special gift for everyone – Xiamen's traditional delicacy, Mianxian, a long noodle soup symbolizing longevity and happiness. It's our heartfelt wish for Wing Technology and all its associates to prosper healthily, live long, and find joy in the years to come.
