High-density polyethylene is an opaque white wax-like material. It has a specific gravity of 0.941~0.960 which is lighter than water. It is soft and tough, but slightly harder than LDPE. It is non-toxic and tasteless.

High density polyethylene is widely used to extrude packaging films, ropes, woven bags, fishing nets, water pipes; injection low-grade daily necessities and shells, non-load-bearing components, plastic boxes, turnover boxes; extrusion blow molding containers, hollow products, bottles. Our sanitary film for automatic toilet seat is made from this material as well because of some features below.

info-750-750

1. High Impact Strength: HDPE has high impact resistance due to its density and molecular structure.

2. Chemical Resistance: HDPE is resistant to many chemicals, making it ideal for use in applications where exposure to harsh chemicals is common.

3. Lightweight: HDPE has a low-density structure, which makes it lightweight and easy to handle.

4. Excellent Durability: HDPE has excellent resistance to wear, corrosion, and UV radiation, making it ideal for long-term outdoor applications.

5. Thermal Stability: HDPE has good thermal stability, meaning it is not easily affected by changes in temperature.

6. Non-Toxic: HDPE is a non-toxic material, making it suitable for use in applications where food contact or medical-grade materials are required.

7. Recyclable: HDPE is a highly recyclable material, making it a sustainable choice for manufacturing processes.

8. Weldable: HDPE can be easily welded, which allows for the creation of complex structures and shapes.

9. Low Permeability: HDPE has low permeability, making it an excellent choice for applications that require containment of gases or liquids.

Cost-effective: HDPE is a cost-effective material, making it ideal for mass production applications.
