The ultimate purpose of commercial interior design is one and only: that is to let consumers enter the commercial locations and guide them to consume more, which is also the goal that many shopping malls try to achieve.
For commercial interior design companies, from the initial storefront planning, to implementation, to final delivery, the key of their design is to understand consumers and design an interior environment that meets consumers' preferences.
Here i make a list of some principles which most interior designers use when they design shopping malls.
1. The interior design of shopping malls needs to meet practicality
Shopping malls are mass consumption places, which need to meet people's daily needs for shopping. The decorative materials should be simple. Since there are many counters and containers in shopping malls, and the amount of wood used is large, it is recommended to use virgin materials. Some low cabinets made of artificial boards are prone to wear or deformation.
2. Color and lighting design of shopping malls
Color is the soul of the counter. The human brain is more sensitive to color. If you want to form a noble and elegant image to the visitors For example, golden, reddish brown and white color are recommended. Scientific lighting design can not only highlight the design style of shopping malls, but also give consumers a comfortable experience.
3. Stock up on necessary utilities
In order to ensure the shops can operate in a good environment and customers can enjoy a comfortable shopping atmosphere, the mall must be equipped with some necessary facilities, such as air conditioning, electricity, fire protection, public toilets and elvators. Since shopping mall is a place with high traffic, there must be a lot of people using the public toilets, thus the hygienic condition in the public restrooms should be paid more attention to. Here i recommed a device named automatic toilet seat system which is designed to offer every one who uses the toilet seat with new toilet seat every time. No need to put disposable toilet seat covers anymore. No need to worry about cross infections anymore.
