The survival time of bacteria is also staggering. A research team randomly checked 34 seat-type toilets in the toilets and found that 21 toilets were found to have Shigella bacillus. One of them, named "Sonnei", survived in the seat ring for as long as 17 days.

Smart toilets using antibacterial materials have an antibacterial rate of over 90%

Recently, the Health Home Appliances Analysis and Testing Center of China Household Electrical Appliances Research Institute used the 7 batches of seats in accordance with the national standard GB/T 21551.2-2010 "Special requirements for antibacterial, sterilization and purification antibacterial materials for household and similar electrical appliances" Smart toilets with antibacterial materials have been tested, involving brands including TOTO, Kohler, American Standard, Panasonic, Washiro and Benjiebao. The results show that these smart toilets with antibacterial functions have an antibacterial rate of more than 90%, and some products even reach 99.99%. This shows that the antibacterial toilets of well-known brands on the market meet the national standards and are trustworthy.
Keep the seat hygienic, you have to do it
Of course, if you don't clean the toilet seat on time and do a good job of protection, no matter how powerful antibacterial materials are, it will not save your ass.
● Do not use cushions
There is an experimental surface in the United States. An originally clean flannel cushion for the seat ring will reach 200,000 bacteria after 2-3 days of use. If it is used for 7-10 days, the number of bacteria on the cushion will reach 30 million. Therefore, if it is not necessary, it is not appropriate to use a cushion.
