The sanitary bidet now can be seen in almost every family. It is made to improve the hygiene level of the bathroom at home. But it’s inevitable that dust and bacteria will deposit through our daily use of bidets. In that case, we must pay more attention to the disinfection of sanitary bidets. Commonly used disinfection and sterilization methods for sanitary bidets are as follows:

1. Natural disinfection method: the sanitary bidet should always be placed in a cool and ventilated place especially when it is not in use. On sunny days, it should be taken out to dry under the sun. The ultraviolet rays will help to kill some kinds of microorganisms on the bidet. It requires less effort but it cannot clean all the bacteria and stains.

2. Physical sterilization: This method commonly used in households and it needs the use of detergents and brushes. Scrubbing with brush and disinfectants can play a role in sterilization by removing dust and stains on the surface. You can also soak the sanitary bidets into boiling water about 70 degrees for an hour and then scrub it with a brush. It will be easier for you to remove those stains in this way. Be careful not to scald yourself when cleaning. If you are going to scrub with a rag instead of a brush, it is recommended to wear protective gloves to prevent damage of skin on hands.

3. Chemical disinfection and sterilization: In fact, the detergent above is a chemical product. General chemical disinfection includes bleaching powder and 84 disinfectants , which can destroy the physiological functions of bacteria and inhibit the generation and growth of bacteria. You can use 84 disinfectant and water to make a solution with a ratio of 1:200 and soak the bidet into it. After 2 hours, rinsing the bidet with clean water, you can see the effect is quite good. What’s more, after you finish the cleaning, you can pour the solution into the toilet and remain it for an hour. In this way, you can also get a clean toilet and make full use of the solution.
