The development of the commercial toilet seat industry is driven by both policy standards and market demand. Currently, industry regulations are becoming increasingly perfect, and market competition is characterized by "concentration among leading companies and breakthroughs in niche segments." Future trends are closely related to policy guidance.

The continuously improving policy and standard system clearly defines the boundaries for industry development. The current domestic standard, *Sanitary Ceramics* (GB/T 6952-2015), clearly defines basic indicators such as antibacterial performance, water absorption rate, and crack resistance for commercial toilet seats. The *Public Toilet Hygiene Standard* (GB/T 17217-2012) stipulates the hygiene requirements for public restrooms, indirectly promoting the popularization of antibacterial commercial toilet seats. Since 2024, first-tier cities such as Shanghai and Shenzhen have included "the coverage rate of intelligent antibacterial toilet seats in public restrooms" in the rating and assessment indicators for commercial complexes and star-rated hotels, further releasing high-end market demand. Under the "dual-carbon" policy, the national requirements for water conservation in commercial sanitary ware products continue to increase, and water-saving level 1 has become a mandatory standard for most public project procurement.

The market competition landscape is divided into three camps. The first camp consists of international brands, such as TOTO, Kohler, and Duravit, which dominate the high-end market thanks to their technological accumulation and brand advantages. Their main clients are five-star hotels and foreign-owned office buildings, holding approximately 35% market share. Their products are priced higher, but they have a first-mover advantage in antibacterial and smart features. The second camp comprises leading domestic brands, including Jomoo, Arrow, and Hengjie, which occupy the mid-range market with high cost-performance and channel advantages, covering office buildings, shopping malls, and chain hotels. They hold over 50% market share, and their products combine practicality and affordability. In recent years, they have rapidly caught up with international brands in smart features. The third camp consists of regional niche brands, mainly targeting the lower-tier markets of third- and fourth-tier cities, such as rural public facilities and small supermarkets. They compete primarily on low prices, offering relatively basic product features, and hold approximately 15% market share.

The future focus of industry competition will be on two directions: First, the deep integration of "water saving + energy saving", with low-power smart models (standby power ≤1.5W) and ultra-water-saving models (water consumption ≤4.8L/use) becoming the focus of research and development; Second, specialized products for specific scenarios, such as "age-friendly toilet seats" (with handrails, emergency call, and soft-close seat ring) for an aging society, and "sterile antibacterial models" for medical scenarios, are expected to become new growth highlights.
